LogMeIn has launched the Grasshopper Connect, a new unified communications product that has been built for smaller businesses. According to LogMeIn, Grasshopper connect combines various forms of business communication in a single inbox that enables small businesses to create a dedicated business phone number through the existing mobile phones. The business number is connected to all the applications that combine all the business contacts and communications using the different types of text, calls, voicemails, or emails into a unified platform. Grasshopper connects creates a timeline for all conversations from different communication platforms. According to LogMeIn is for the business owners to access and prioritize records of the past communications.
Different features from Grasshopper include
1. Unified Messaging enables businesses to manage calls, voicemails, emails, and even text under one roof.
2. Small businesses can create contacts that define the boundary between the business and personal communications.
3. Email Integration is seamless, making the businesses take less time to spend checking a variety of applications and filtering through the clutter.
4. All the features will be made available for both android and iOS users so that the businesses can access the communications on a single go.
LogMeIn offers a complete portfolio for the unified communication products that include the GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, Grasshopper, and Jive. It recently also launched the GoToRoom and GoToConnect. During June, LogMeIn announced that it was partnering with Dolby laboratories that will be supporting the GoToRoom along with video conferencing software. GoToRoom features virtual conference rooms using the LogMeIn’s GoToMeeting software tools.
