Customer Value Partners Inc. (CVP) is an award-winning business and next-generation technology consulting company that supports organizations navigate disruption. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) awarded CVP the Data Tools Platform Development and Maintenance contract to harmonize and enhance AHRQ’s health data tools.
Anirudh Kulkarni, CEO at CVP, commented: “We are honored to have been selected by AHRQ and are looking forward to bringing our expertise in health data and advanced machine learning to help our new customer enhance efficiencies and further its efforts toward modernization.” Further, he added, “This is also a win for both CVP and AHRQ because we understand the link between the DATA Act and how web-based statistical tools help serve the purpose of that Act.”
AHRQ’s aim
AHRQ’s primary aim is to generate evidence to make an enhanced healthcare system safer that uses higher-quality devices, is affordable, more accessible, and equitable. Also, it aims to work with the Health and Human Services (HHS) and other partners to publicize and ensure that the evidence is understood and used properly. AHRQ is a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The contract
In this five-year contract, CVP will help AHRQ harmonize its usability, look, and feel of its healthcare statistical data tools. Thus, it will use a shared set of user interfaces that are easy to use and cost-efficient to maintain and expand. Moreover, the contract will help AHRQ meet the requirements of the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014 (also termed as the DATA Act). This act was formed to support government-wide financial data standards and expand federal spending information’s availability, usefulness, and accuracy.
Moreover, CVP has already worked with health data at HHS, and this collaboration made it possible for CVP to win the contract with AHRQ.
