Ricardo plc, a world-class environmental, engineering, and strategic consulting company, has signed an agreement to acquire Inside Infrastructure, which is a private-held consultancy business based in Adelaide, Australia. The financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed. But the deal includes the acquisition of operating assets and the entire business. Employees will also expand Ricardo’s capabilities throughout Australia with the medium of Inside Infrastructure.
Inside Infrastructure brings a plethora of environmental and technical advisory services through a team of 25 specialists, aiding water, utility, mining, healthcare, infrastructure, and government sectors to manage their projects and assets.
The partnership
The customer base of Inside Infrastructure complements Ricardo’s existing presence in water and utilities and offers Ricardo the opportunity to expand into adjacencies as it has a solid customer base in the mining and Australian government sectors. Ricardo already has a strong presence in Australia with upstream policy and consultancy services. The acquisition will build on this and extend its implementation capability.
