Allegorithmic is the maker of substance the industry standard for the creation of 3D textures, material creation in game and video post-production. Adobes current mission of offering the top-notch tools for the creative artists under one roof is moving towards video development. Allegorithmic has been popular for creating the 3D texture and graphics for some of the world’s most popular video games. According to the official press release by the Adobe “The combination of Allegorithmic substance 3D design tools along with the Adobes creative cloud it will become a complete solution for the design and graphics. Currently, Adobe is providing the imaging tools, video, and motion graphics tool. The acquisition will help to build immersive technology for video game creators and VFX artists.”
Adobe had recently announced it’s the idea of adopting the Augmented Reality (AR) during its Adobe Max conference. The Adobe Aero project that was launched in the demo version combines the AR capabilities for making the 3D aspects to design and can be used by masses in the day to day life. The acquisition of Allegorithmic Adobe will be able to add more to its a kitty, Adobe Dimension CC recently updated its 3D software with more features and cross Adobe integration. Using the Adobe dimension the creative artists can design not only the 3D objects but also 3D words for the immersive experience. The users can even import images files to be used for texture or import the texture from the library to further enhance 3D creation. The current Allegorithmic’s Substance Painter software package is available to create awesome graphics and visual at price of annual fee $239 annually or $19.99 per month.
